Looking for a unique venue to celebrate with your loved ones? The Monks’ Barn is a Grade II* listed medieval barn in the centre of the picturesque village Hurley and is the perfect place to hold your wedding reception, civil ceremony or party!
Licensed for up to 150 guests, you can create your own special day within the Barn’s unique features by picking your own caterer, florist and furnishings! The barn also offer a unique outdoor space for all your guests to enjoy your event both inside and outside.
The Great Hall can offer different seating arrangements (120 on long tables or 150 on round table) and has beautiful flagstone flooring throughout. The building has unique details around it showing the history of the building, from when it used to store the local Monks produce. Take your time to look around and you will be amazed at what you will see. The hall can be lit by beautiful lamps, uplighters or fairy lights depending on your vision for your day!
Alongside the hall is the Monks’ Bar and The Dance Hall, where people can drink and dance, and there is also the Monks’ Barn Lawn, where you can host music, bars, outdoor games and photobooths – it is your day to create for yourselves!
We have an extensive list of wedding service suppliers, all who know the barn well and have been highly recommended by previous clients. You are also welcome to introduce your own suppliers.
There is secure overnight parking for your guests to leave their cars overnight if required.
The Barn is available to hire on Saturdays from May to September and open for viewing by appointment on Tuesdays between bookings or at other times when the barn is not in use.
